* Confidentiality and discretion are a must. We expect peoples privacy and identities to be respected.

* No drugs or illegal substances are ever permitted at an HPEP event or meeting. Please do not attend an event or meeting under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

* No always means NO. Don't touch someone's person or possessions without asking

* Most of our members, whether single or involved, are always interested in meeting new friends. That does not mean they automatically welcome aggressive sexual overtures. We are not a singles dating service or swinger group. Don't assume everyone you meet is available.

* Whether "new guard" or "old guard" be respectful of other peoples relationships. Don't assume any submissive is yours to command.

* If you are a "pro" [provision of fetish services in exchange for money], you are welcome, but please do not solicit business at an HPEP event or meeting.

* It is ok to have an opinion. Be respectful of other people's opinions and relationships as they should respect yours.

* HPEP meetings are usually held in public places. Dress in a manner appropriate for the venue and be respectful of the staff and management of the facility. We are their guests.
